FOR TRUE PROFESSIONAL HEARING CARE, ASK FOR AN AUDIOLOGIST!
DON’T BE FOOLED BY CHAIN BUSINESSES LISTED UNDER THE AUDIOLOGIST HEADING IN THE YELLOW PAGES OR ONLINE DIRECTORIES.
MOST DON’T HAVE AN AUDIOLOGIST IN THEIR LOCAL OFFICES.  THEIR NON-AUDIOLOGIST STAFF CANNOT LEGALLY TEST HEARING FOR ANY PURPOSE OTHER THAN HEARING AID SELECTION.

Ericka DeVore, Au.D.

Dr. DeVore received her clinical doctorate degree (Au.D.) in audiology at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2007. She is licensed to practice in the state of Florida and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and Academy of Doctors of Audiology. Before re-locating to Mount Dora she worked for one the largest Ear, Nose & Throat practices in South Florida for several years.

Dr. DeVore brings to the practice personal care, from diagnosing whether a child is experiencing a hearing loss, or interpreting hearing test results for adult patients and explaining the type of hearing loss the patient is experiencing. She counsels families and individuals about the issues of hearing loss, the impact it can have and the positive news about today’s solutions.

When it comes to finding the right hearing aid, Dr. DeVore says, “Size of the hearing aid is not the issue; it is the sophistication of the circuitry inside and the expertise of the audiologist that dispenses it.”

“It is hearing with a personal touch,” Dr. DeVore says.  She will help patients choose what best fits their needs and what their budgets can tolerate.
